International shipping is a documentation problem

The freight part is solved. Carriers go everywhere. What trips up most brands is the paperwork: customs declarations, VAT schemes, EORI numbers, HS codes, commercial invoices. Get any one wrong and your customer pays a surprise duty at the door.

International isn't just shipping further

Every border adds rules. Post-Brexit UK needs its own playbook. Every ROW country has its own documentation, duties, and rules. Errors compound.

Post-Brexit UK is a different country

Pre-2021 UK delivery was just domestic-at-distance. Now it's customs declarations, EORI numbers, VAT schemes, rejections at the border. The rules changed overnight and most Irish brands still haven't adapted.

Every ROW country has its own rules

US has its own duty threshold. Australia has GST. Canada has provincial sales tax. Documentation requirements vary by country. Prohibited items vary by country. A blanket international strategy fails in practice.

One wrong declaration = lost customer

The customer pays the duty at the door. They feel misled. They don't come back. They tell friends. International delivery failures cost more than the refund: they cost the long-term customer relationship.

International done without the complexity leaking through

The customs, tax and documentation complexity is real, but it shouldn't be your problem. 2Flow absorbs all of it and lets you focus on the customer experience.

Post-Brexit UK expertise

Commercial invoices, EORI numbers, IOSS and OSS scheme handling where applicable. UK shipments flow smoothly across the Irish Sea with duties and VAT handled the way you want them to be.

Customs documentation, automated

Commercial invoices, customs declarations, HS code classifications, and carrier-specific documentation generated automatically per shipment. You don't fill in forms. We do.

DDP vs DDU guidance

Delivered Duty Paid (smooth customer experience, duties baked in) or Delivered Duty Unpaid (lower shipping line, customer pays at door). We advise based on product type, price point, and market.

DPD International, An Post's international network, and integrated partners for specific markets. Right carrier per destination, right service level per shipment.

Why Dublin for UK

Dublin makes post-Brexit UK fulfilment simpler

Ireland has a unique relationship with the UK. It's an EU member but shares a common travel area, common language, and decades of cross-border trade infrastructure. That translates into a smoother post-Brexit delivery experience than you'd expect.

Talk to us
Single customs declaration

One export declaration from Ireland, handled by us. Your customer never sees the paperwork.

Geographic proximity

Dublin to London is closer than Manchester to Glasgow. Direct freight routes multiple times a day.

English-speaking operations

No translation overhead between us and your UK customer service team.

Northern Ireland simplified

NI shipments follow EU-internal rules for most consumer goods, which removes most Brexit friction.

Brands that expanded globally from Dublin

Post-Brexit our UK customers were paying surprise duties at the door. Refunds went through the roof. 2Flow switched us to DDP and complaints stopped within the week.

Irish DTC Brand

We sell to 12 countries now. I do not touch a single customs form. It took about three conversations with 2Flow to set it all up.

Lifestyle Brand, Ireland

We tested Australia as a market. The shipping side was handled from the first order. If it hadn't worked, we could have stopped. That flexibility let us try.

International fulfilment questions answered

Questions brands typically ask before shipping UK or further afield from Dublin.

Do you ship to the UK post-Brexit?
Yes. UK shipments from Dublin are handled end-to-end, including commercial invoices, EORI numbers, VAT treatment and customs declarations. UK customers see a smooth delivery experience, with duties and VAT handled on-brand rather than appearing as surprise charges at the door.
What countries do you ship to?
50+ countries through our international carrier network. UK, US, Canada, Australia and most of Asia are served directly. We can advise on country-specific restrictions, duty treatment, and delivery performance for any destination you're considering.
Who pays customs duties?
That depends on how you set your checkout. Two standard models. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): you bake duties into the shipping cost and the customer sees no surprise charges. DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid): the customer pays duties to the carrier on delivery. DDP produces better customer experience. DDU reduces the shipping line on the receipt. We advise based on product type and market.
What documentation do you generate?
Commercial invoices, customs declarations, HS code classifications, and carrier-specific documentation are generated automatically per shipment. EORI numbers, IOSS/OSS scheme details and country-specific paperwork are included where applicable. You don't create documents per shipment, we do.
How are returns from international customers handled?
Returns from the UK and rest of world are routed back to Dublin. We coordinate return shipping labels, handle customs on the return leg where applicable, and process the returns through the standard inspect-grade-restock flow. Reverse logistics is part of the service.
